Cheap but Chic Diaries - Clear Glitter Makeup Bag !

Its been a long time since I have done a 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' post. Its a post where I feature my bargain finds.

Today's post is a quick one featuring this beautiful Clear glitter beauty bag from Sportsgirl. Sportsgirl like most other stores has sale going on currently. There's also a 30 % further markdown on the sale items.

I really like clear beauty bags, when I saw this, I knew I wanted my makeup to live in it and for under 4 dollars (original price 10), why not ? 

I bought this two days back from my nearby store so chances are you should be able to find it. 

You can use this for makeup, stationery, brushes, etc.

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Affordable Decor from Kmart

Don't we all love bargains, that too if we find something oh so luxe looking at a cool price ? This edition of 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' bring to you something on the Decor front, hope you like it. 

Today's Cheap but Chic Diaries features a  decorative 'Silver dish' from Kmart. I have kept this on my dresser and plan to keep the rings or necklaces that are on rotation. You could use this for anything, just a pretty way to display something ..adds a glamorous touch  ..

The model is called 'Madrid Silver Bowl' and was for 7 AUD.

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Collar Necklace under $5 from Equip

If you have been following my blog for a while, you must be knowing am a bit crazy about jewelry . Check out HERE, for my jewelry collection, if you are interested in some jewelgasm. Anyways, today's Cheap but Chic Diaries features 'Collar Necklace under $5 from Equip'.

Collar necklaces are nothing new, but this is the first time I am venturing into this territory ..

I felt this necklace was a perfect elegant piece, with beautiful pearls, diamantes and beads, but at the same time nothing over the top ..Bought this necklace for 3.75 AUD, originally priced at 14.99 AUD .. :) Yippe !!

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Gold Clutch

Today's Cheap but Chic Diaries features a soft gold clutch from Sportsgirl ...You can carry it as a cross body bag or as a clutch .. 

This was marked down to around 10 AUD... I just could not resist and had to add this piece to my closet ...

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Makeup Brush Holders for a dollar

Today's Cheap but Chic Diaries edition features Makeup Brush Holders from Kmart. 

I had been looking for makeup brushes holders since a while. I saw these transparent pencil cases from the stationery 'Back to School' section at Kmart. These were for a dollar. As soon as I saw them, I knew they would be perfect for storing my brushes ...

I have two of these one for face brushes and one for eye brushes .. I have temporarily just put foam in these cups.  

PS : Could someone pls suggest where can I get affordable fillers for these cups in Australia ..

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Mini Treasures :)

This edition of Cheap but Chic Diaries features a small ceramic box. I got this from The Reject Shop for 3$. 

I would be using this as a trinket box for my mini treasures :)..will be keeping my earrings and rings that I am loving currently :)

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Neon Watch from 'Diva'

This 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' edition is highlighting the oh-so current trend 'NEON'. Mostly all the jewelry stores have all the trendy time pieces available to add to your arm candy but they range from 20$ - 40$. 

I found this gorgeous Neon yellow n gold link watch at Diva on sale for 9 $. This was originally marked at 29.99 $. .I am not sure why the discounted price shows as 15 $ on the website. I bought mine from the store for 9 $.

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Rings from Lovisa

Today's 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' features rings from Lovisa. They have a 3 for $ 10 sale going on. I believe its mostly for earrings and rings. BTW they are having a mid season sale on a lot of stuff. I bought two statement rings and a small one for a change as they are easy to throw on whenever you want. Both the statement rings are quite edgy n trendy n I really like them. 

One is that aztec design and the other is more like a warrior ring with a mirror finish stone ..

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Mini Jewelry Organizer

Todays 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' features a pretty little Jewelry Organizer from The Reject Shop. It was priced at 4 dollars.

As soon as I saw this pretty little thing my eyes were just stuck on it and I knew that I wanted it so bad . U ask why ? because it was pink, it was pretty, it was polka dotted and I knew it would look good on my dresser ..

Its a tiny organizer n honestly not very useful for storage. Its a cute piece to keep on your vanity to hang jewelry that is heavy on rotation. The pic on the left is how I have mine, just decorated with the stuff that I am leaning towards currently. This is also available in mint and baby blue color.

Cheap but Chic Diaries - Belts & Scarf

Hi gals ,

I am starting a new section called 'Cheap but Chic Diaries' which will be featuring good bargains or any awesome cheap finds .. I will be posting this as and on I haul something nice. This would range from clothes, shoes, accessories, decor, or any random stuff that I like. 

I am really enjoying skinny belts at the moment so holding on to that, the first  'Cheap but Chic Diaries' will be featuring a scarf and some belts that I bought from Portmans. I believe their sale started from today.
