My Spring/Summer Bright Lipstick Picks !

I am not much of a seasonal person when it comes to makeup, though there are definitely some colors that I lean towards more in summer, orange being one of them. 

All that being said, in today's post I share with you My Spring/Summer Bright Lipstick Picks. 

MAC Crosswires, Ruby Woo, Impassioned, Revlon Lip butter Tutti Frutti and Revlon Paradise Pink

MAC Crosswires - This is a Creemsheen finish by MAC. Its a pretty pinky coral, not too bright in your face, but bright enough to pack a statement. This is one of my favorite summer/holiday picks. This is a wearable bright in my opinion. Swatch HERE and HERE .

MAC Ruby Woo - This is a Matte finish by MAC. It is a beautiful, bold, bright in your face red. I love this shade. The only negative with this lipstick is that it can be a bit drying, but for the stunning red shade it is, I am okay to ignore that. Previously mentioned HERE.

MAC Impassioned - This is an Amplified finish by MAC. It is a warm pink shade with red undertones. Its a stunning, bright, pinky red color which is perfect for a pop of color in summers.

Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti - Revlon Lip butters are one of my favorite drugstore formulas. Revlon Lip butters are glossy, balmy and moisturizing goodness is a lipstick tube. Tutti Frutti is a straight up orange and is one of the  colors I wear mostly in summer only.This is definitely a color to go for if you are looking at trying orange lips. Review and Swatch HERE

Revlon Paradise Pink - Paradise Pink is a matte orangish  red color. Its a matte but not that drying. Its a stunning, opaque color, totally apt for summers. Review and Swatch HERE

SHEER LIPSTICK LOVE !

As much as I like full on, bang on, one swipe opaque pigmented lipsticks, I do love my sheer lipsticks too. 
In today's post I share with you the sheer lipsticks I have been loving.

Maybelline Color Whisper Mad for Magenta

This is the newest of the lot. Maybelline Color Whispers are moisturizing, sheer, 

lip balm type lipsticks. Mad for Magenta is a beautiful bright pink with some shimmer, 

though shimmer is not very obvious on the lips. 

MAC See Sheer

MAC Seer Sheer, is a beautiful, everyday coral shade. It is a pretty, glossy, sheer 

moisturizing lipstick. One of my favorite summer lipsticks of all times. See the lip swatch HERE.

Revlon Tutti Frutti 

 Revlon Tutti Frutti definitely screams summer. It is a true orange color and one of my favorites for summer. 

I absolutely love Revlon lip butters, they are a dream, if you like balmy, glossy lipsticks. Check out my review and lip swatch HERE

Rave Review - Revlon Lip Butters

I have just discovered Revlon Lip butters.. I know, I know, I am super late in trying these.. I bought these along with Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains on my recent USA trip ..I have 'Candy Apple', which is a gorgeous shade of red, bold but yet easily wearable & 'Tutti Frutti', which is a beautiful orange shade (a good color if you want to explore orange colors). I would definitely want to try more shades of these.

The Good 

• Creamy in texture 
• Super moisturizing
• Gorgeous packaging 
• Variety of shades to suit all needs 
• Super glossy
•  Glides on the lips 
• Perfect blend of a lipstick n a gloss

The Bad 

• The staying power is not as great as many other lipsticks (but I am fine with it, as technically they are lip butters)
• Not all the shades are as pigmented
• The actual product is very soft, and the product can sometimes get caught on the sides of the tube and get messy
