O Hello Volume !

I am someone with naturally flat and somewhat straight hair and do struggle with the volume department. It's also no secret that I don't have a lot of hair. I don't like backcombing my hair, though it is one way I know I can get some volume.

Who doesn't love Va Va Voom hair and in my quest to find some volume, I bought some products but to not much  help :(

It could just be that I am using these products incorrectly, so if you happen to use any of these products or if they have worked for you, please let me know in the comments below.

Catwalk by TIGI Volume Your Highness Root Boost Spray
This is the product that I still use sometimes, the rest I have completely lost hope. This is typically a root booster kind of a product which you are supposed to apply to your damp towel dried roots and blow dry your hair. It does work to an extent but nothing very super exciting in my opinion.

Loreal Elvive Volume Collagen Root Lift Spray
It says in the directions that this can be used both on dry or damp hair. It comes out like water and makes my hair damp, so am not sure whats the point of using this on dry hair ?!? Does nothing for my hair.

KMS California Add Volume Volumizing Spray
This is also a similar product to the TIGI one above. Spray in your hair and blow dry. This also didn't do much for my hair. I also think it sticks to my hair a bit and I can almost feel the product if not dried properly. Doesn't do much for volume too.

Have you used any of these products ? What do you think ? What are your go to products for volume ?

  2. My hair is flat and fine, too. I'm constantly trying different volume products.. The ones I'm getting the best results from at the moment are John Frieda Volume Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion, Paul Mitchell Extra Body Thicken Up, Sebastian Thickefy Foam and Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume. :)
