Chirstmas Party Look (FOTD) !

Some time back I shared my work Christmas party selfie on Instagram and got positive feedback on the post, so decided on sharing the look on the blog.

My Christmas party was themed Summer, I wore a white top and floral skirt. I wanted a nice, glowy base with bold lips. So, lets go on to the makeup breakdown.

Face Makeup

I did my base using the Loreal Lumi Magique primer and foundation. I love this combo, it gives a super glowy look. This foundation is easy to blend and gives a natural and luminous finish. The shade W6 is a perfect match for me which is a bonus.

I concealed my under eyes with the Colorbar Instant Coverup Stick. I topped my foundation with the MAC MSFN powder which is again a very natural and non powdery finish.

For blush I used MAC Blushbaby which is a beautiful subtle pink color. MAC Blushbaby is a no fuss blush and goes with any lipstick. I highlighted my nose and just a bit of my cheeks with Colorbar Illuminator pen.

Eyes and Lips
My eye makeup was very simple and just a wash of color blended out towards the crease. I used this beautiful purple color from the Lakme Tanjore Rush quad. I lined my eyes with Maybelline Hyper Glossy Navy blue eyeliner and my waterline with Covergirl Liquidline blast.

I used Benefit They're real mascara which is awesome. For brows I used my current favorite Loreal Brow Artist plumper (review coming up soon).

Coming to lips, the highlight of my makeup look, I used the Bourjouis Rouge Edition Velvet in Ole Flamingo. I lined my lips with the Too Faced Borderline just so my lipstick would stay put.

Hope you liked the post.

What are your party essentials ? Do you do a smokey eye or bold lips for a party ?
