Review - Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream

I was looking for a night cream and after hearing a lot about the brand Antipodes, I decided to pick up the "Avocado and Pear night cream". I have used it for over two months now and am reviewing it today.

What the company says

SCIENTIFICALLY SHOWN TO STIMULATE SYNTHESIS OF COLLAGEN PRODUCTION IN HUMAN CELLS BY UP TO 92%*

Nature's anti-ageing by night, beautiful skin by day! There's no better way to resurrect your skin than with the superior restorative qualities of 100% pure avocado oil. This facial night cream also features calendula oil from marigold petals, highly regarded throughout history for its healing and repairing properties. Active manuka honey soothes and moistens your skin, while potent antioxidant Vinanza Grape helps neutralise free radical damage.

PURE PLANT FRAGRANCE: Ylang ylang, jasmine & sandalwood

SUITED TO MOST SKIN CONDITIONS INCLUDING ULTRA-DRY

Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream is a really rich, thick cream and in my opinion, best suited for winters. I think it is good for dry skin type and not so much for oily skin. I have normal to dry skin and enjoyed using this cream. Let's look at the good and the bad

The Good
  • Super moisturising
  • Leaves the skin feeling soft
  • Nice and relaxing spa like smell which I tend to like, though may not be for everyone
  • Little goes a long way
  • Certified Organic
  • Attractive, glass packaging

The Bad
  • Its a lot of moolah
  • Feels a bit greasy, but I don't mind it as I use it during night.
  • Did nothing life changing to my skin.

The price
AUD 56.88

Where to buy
Priceline. Check out other stockists HERE

Overall, I thinks its a good cream for hydration. If you are feeling spendy and looking for a good organic hydrating cream, then this is a good one.

Have you tried this cream ? Did you like it ?
