Smokey Eyes with a hint of copper !!

I have attempted the Classic Smokey eyes (black/charcoal) multiple time in multiple ways but somehow never like it on me ..So this is how I tweaked it this time to suit me, in my yet again attempt to the classy smokey eyes ...You can call this the muted smokey eye or the copper/neutral smokey eyes

Smokey eyes with a hint of copper

Products used

Loreal Contour Kohl Pencil, Australis Intensifeye quad (True Blue), Maybelline shadow stylist (Casual Brown - the name is brown but it is a very pretty muted copper color), Face of Australia liquid eyeliner in Black

How I created the look :
  • Dabbed the Loreal Kohl pencil all over the eyelid
  • Applied the darkest shade of Australis eye quad (True Blue) all over the kohl ...and blended it well
  • Applied the Maybelline Casual Brown shade over inner 1/3 of the eye and blended it with the rest of it
  • Applied Face of Australia liquid eyeliner on the upper lash line
  • Lined the lower lash line with the  Loreal Contour Kohl pencil
  • Curled the lashes and applied mascara
  • Highlighted on the highest part of the brow bone
So what do you think of the muted smokey eyes ? Which is your favorite color for the smokey eyes ?
