I love colored eyeliners. I think they are the easiest way to add something to your eyes and look pulled together. I previously did a 6 different eyeliner looks post. Today I am sharing my 5 favorite colored eyeliners to wear, this is not focused on the brand as such but on colors.

Review - Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black
The 'Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner' is one of the most popular liquid liners out there and today I am reviewing the same.
The Good
- Affordable and easily available
- Fine tip allows for a precise and controlled application
- Good for drawing a thin and clean line
- Brush tip makes it easy to use
- Highly Pigmented
- Good for beginners
- Stays put throughout the day
- Precision tip makes it easy for a winged liner look
The Bad
The only negative is if you like thick eyeliner, then it can take some time with this one, but it's just me being too critical.
The Price
13.95 AUD
Where to Buy
Priceline, Kmart, Big W, etc.

The Liner Story !
It is no secret that I love eyeliner, I have often mentioned that on the blog. Whenever I want to do a quick eye look, I always apply a colored eyeliner. In today's post I feature some different type of eyeliners that I have used.
Check out my previous post on 6 different eyeliner looks HERE
Check out my previous post on 6 different eyeliner looks HERE
1. Eye Pencils
Eye pencils are one of my favorite type of eye liners. In my opinion they are the easiest for beginners. They are easy to apply, you don't need to be that precise with them. You can also wear them smoked out. Before venturing into the liquid eyeliner territory, eye pencils were my go to.
2. Eye Pens
I have really been enjoying the Maybelline Master Precise eye liner currently. Liquid eyeliners in form of pens are easier as compared to the typical, traditional liquid eyeliners. The only negative with them is that they can dry out faster.
3. Traditional Liquid Eye Liners
Liquid eyeliners with brush tips are considered as probably the most difficult and tricky to use. But, for me I particularly enjoy brush tips over the stiff felt tips. When I shifted from pencil to liquid, I found them okay to work with.
4. Gel Eye Liners
I am not a big fan of gel eyeliners in a pot form. I was very excited to try them as I had heard that they are very easy to apply. I don't find them particularly easy for an eyeliner newbie. Also I think they take longer to apply and I don't tend to use them that much.
5. Retractable Eye Pencils
These are just regular eye pencils with the convenience that you don't have to sharpen them. Somehow I don't like these as much as the old school pencils that need sharpening. I have tried a few so far but I don't find them as pigmented as the eye pencils that you have to sharpen. Also these are not as hygienic as the ones that need sharpening.
Which eyeliner type is your favorite ? Any recommendations ?
Please note there are many other types of eyeliners available. I am just featuring the different types that I have tried.

Review - Savvy by DB Eyeliners
I love colored eye pencils.
If I want to do a quick eye do without any effort, colored eye pencils are what I go for. A colored eyeliner on the lid and a black on the lower lash line and you are good to go :)
I love how colored eyeliners add a pop of color and define your eyes without much effort. Today's post is about Savvy by DB eyeliners. Savvy by DB is an affordable Australian brand available at Priceline.
Savvy by DB Soft Glide Eyeliners are exactly as the name suggest super soft and creamy and they just glide on the eyes beautifully. They are pigmented and long lasting.
Price - 7.99 AUD
I was looking for a different color eyeliner and I spotted the Savvy by DB Long Wearing eyeliner in Jade. Its a beautiful green color but not as pigmented and creamy as the Soft Glide Eyeliners.
Price - 6.99 AUD.
Shop them from Priceline.
Overall the Savvy by DB eye liners are good drugstore eyeliners and out of the two, I would definitely recommend the Savvy by DB Soft Glide Eyeliners.

Review - Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Black
I have blogged about the Bright Blue shade of this eyeliner before, check HERE. I love this eyeliner, it is super pigmented, super creamy, affordable and stays put all day.
I don't know what it is about me but I prefer sharpening pencils over the retractable ones. I have tried a lot of drugstore water proof pencils and this is the best of the lot. I have already repurchased this and also have a back up in my stash. I picked it up in the Priceline 40% off sale.

The Good
- Awesome pigmentation (super black)
- Creamy texture, glides beautifully on the eyes
- Long staying - stays put on my upper lash line through the day, on my waterline and lower lashline, starts wearing off only on the inner and outer corner towards the end of the day, but so do most of the long stay ones on me.
- Water proof but not completely smudge proof
- Colored Packaging - easy to locate
The Bad
- Bit difficult to remove from lower lashline, but nothing different than any other water proof liner.
The Price
9.95 AUD (1.2 gms)
Where to buy
Priceline, Kmart, Big W, Target

Today I am reviewing 'The Colossal Kajal' by Maybelline.

The Good
The Bad
The Price
175 INR (approx 3 AUD)
Overall, I would recommend this eyeliner. It is definitely a good budget buy. It is a steal at this price.
* This product was gifted to me by Myntra.

The Good
- Smooth and creamy texture - glides on smoothly
- Lasts long on the lid (12-14 hours)
- Lasts long on the lower lash line also (the above pic is after 12-14 hours of application, with one time touch up to clear the kajal gathered at the corners)
- Twist up pencil - so no wastage of product
- Stays on the lash line and does not not smear down your lashes
- Cheap as Chips
The Bad
- Not available in Australia - I have never seen it here, if anyone has let me know
- Does not stay on the waterline
- The colour could have been more intense
- Gathers up on the outer corner of the eye in 2-3 hours, but not a biggie as you can clean this with a Q-tip.

Review - Lakme 9 to 5 Defining Eyeliner in 'Slate'
I love wearing eyeliners, neutrals like black, brown, grey or colorful ..I love wearing eyeliners in different ways. They are a quick way to define your eyes if you don't wanna go the whole eyeshadow way..Today's review is Lakme 9 to 5 Defining Eyeliner in 'Slate'. Lakme is an Indian brand manufactured and marketed by Hindustan Unilever Limited. I am not a big fan of grey as I think that grey does not look that good on my skin tone, but having said that I have really enjoyed wearing this shade of gery and I am neary done with the product, as you can see..
The Good
- Lasts throughout the day
- Does not smudge (I haven't used this on my waterline,so cannot comment about that)
- Glides well on the eyes
- Its a twist up (yay ! no sharpening !)
- Water resistant
- Decent Pigmentation
The Bad
- The writing on the stick faded off
- Unavailability in Australia
- Pigmentation could have been better (I am spoiled by all the highly pigmented liners available now)
The Price
AUD 6

6 Different Eyeliner looks
I wanted to share with you the different ways I don eyeliner .. This post is compiled from previous EOTD posts, so you might have already seen all these pics.
Classic Black
This is my all time favorite way to sport eye liner with or without eyeshadow. Simple, easy, classic and always looks good.
Smoked out
Smoking out liner looks casual, effortless as compared to the classic, clean black line but nonetheless looks great.
Multi- Colored
This is rainbow liner which I tried once. It is a fun n different look, good when you have time on your hand.
Fun n Colorful
I love to wear colored liner. Its a fun way to dress up you eyes quickly. I like to experiment with different colors.
Winged
I am still getting the hang of winged liner n so I do not do it often as it takes time for me, but I absolutely love winged liner.
Every day Brown
Currently I am loving brown gel liners as they look less harsh as compared to your black liner but are good at defining eyes.
How do you like to wear your eyeliner ?

Review - Essence Gel EyeLiner in Berlin Rocks (03)

| Essence Gel Eyeliner in Berlin Rocks (03) (no concealer, no mascara, no primer) |
I see myself sporting color easily in the form of eyeliners. I wear different colors ranging from black, brown, grey, navy, turquoise, jade green, purple, plum, gold, copper, etc. Eyeliners are a quick and easy way to dress up your eyes :)
So lets get to the point, today I review 'Essence Gel Eyeliner' in Berlin Rocks (03).
I really like this product. I love the texture, application, pigmentation and the longevity of the product. This eyeliner is waterproof, and stayed on me for more than 12 hours. The formula is super creamy. I cannot compare it with any high end gel eyeliners as I haven't tried any. But if I compare it with Maybelline, I definitely find this better on formula, staying power & price.

Likes
- Waterproof
- Stays on for long - does not budge at all
- Super cheap (approx $6)
- Pigmented
- Creamy texture, glides on easily
Dislikes
- Does not come with a brush
I am pretty impressed with Essence Gel Eyeliner and I suggest all gel eyeliner lovers should give it a try (it doesn't hurt with the price). I will definitely be trying out more Essence products.

BYS Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Ocean Green
I just happen to buy this the other day so that I could try the BYS range and to add another color to my eye pencil collection. This is my first for BYS cosmetics. I have heard good things about BYS products, but this particular product definitely did not work for me. I have not tried anything else except the eyeliner pencil as of yet.
This is hardly pigmented and smudges easily. This should probably work well for a smokey look, to add a pop of color. In the pic above, I had to reapply it several times to show the color it is supposed to be (but still it is not as pigmented as I would have wanted it to be). The quality is still okay for the price, it is definitely not a dry application like some eyeliners. I also like the color but don't think I would be repurchasing BYS eye pencils, but will try out their other products.
This retails for AUD 4.50. BYS is an Australian brand known to provide good value for money cosmetics. They are sold in selected stores and also online on Fashion addict
Which is your favorite BYS product ?
