5 Rose Beauty Products that we are Loving !

Today's post features 5 Rose products I have been loving lately ! If you are not big on Rose products, there is still something in this post for you as these products are not typical rose products but have some rose element to them.

I am not much of a typical rose or sweet smell lover but still I decided to buy Ro's Argan Body conditioner because of the hype. I gradually started to love the smell. It is a sweet jam kind of a scent with some rose in it.

I have been loving the Nivea lip butter in Raspberry Rose recently, its a bang on raspberry scent with just a bit of rose, the raspberry is definitely more overpowering.

I was gifted the Kiehl's Patchouli & Fresh Rose set consisting of the body lotion, the shower gel and the EDT. I absolutely love the scent of this and would definitely repurchase the EDT some day. Kiehl's Patchouli & Freshrose Fragrance, is a beautiful floral smell with a subtle rose, fresh and citrus mix.

Burt's Bees tinted lip balm is one of my favorite balms as it is so moisturising plus it is tinted so its good for on the go. Burt Bees Tinted lip balm in Rose is a beautiful sheer red shade that works for every day.

I have raved about the Sukin Hydrating Mist toner multiple times on the blog. I continue to repurchase it, its a refreshing mist that feels like spraying rose water on your skin. I love using it before my moisturiser and even as a refreshing face mist.

Which are your top Rose products ?

Summer Sprays !

I think I have a thing for products that come in spray form. In today's post I share with you some spray products that I enjoy in the warmer months.

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser
I love the Vaseline Spray Moisturiser. It is perfect for lazy girls like me or when you are in a rush. I have used up one bottle of this before, the Aloe Vera variant.  These are perfect for summer as they are light, non greasy and absorb quickly. Review HERE

Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner
I aboslutely adore this toner, this is my third bottle of this. It is a spray toner that has chamomile and rosewater and is incredibly soothing and refreshing on the skin. It has an awesome smell. Review HERE

MAC Fix+
I tend to use MAC Fix+ more in the warmer months. I like the finish it gives over makeup. Your skin looks more skin like with this. I even spray it sometimes when I am not wearing base makeup. It has a divine smell and feels so good on the skin.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen Spray SPF 30+
I don't like sticky sunscreens that take ages to absorb into the skin and leave a whitecast. So this Neutrogena spray is my go to body sunscreen in summer. I have used a couple of bottles of this. Review HERE

Products I have Repurchased !

When you love buying makeup and beauty products, it is rare that you repurchase them, as you keep getting sucked into the plethora of new releases.

To be honest I hardly am able to finish my makeup products, so repurchase, not much of a chance, but there are definitely skincare products that I repurchase.

In today's post I share with you some products that I love and I have repurchased couple of times.

  1. Garnier Clean Sensitive 2 in 1 Gentle Make-Up Remover - This is my go to makeup remover. I have talked about this HERE. I have been using it for the past three years and totally love it. I hope Garnier doesn't discontinue it. If I have to sum it up quickly, this product is affordable and super effective. Gets the makeup off like a breeze, no rubbing or tugging. If you have not yet tried it, what are you doing, give it a go !
  2. Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner - I have used two bottles of it and have a backup in my stash. This toner has a lovely fragrance and feels light and fresh on the skin. This can be used as a toner, facial mist and also as a makeup setting spray. I have reviewed this HERE.
  3. Girlz Only Dry Shampoo - I have blogged about this HERE and HERE. I am currently using the third bottle of this dry shampoo and I already have a backup. Does the job and the best is that the powdery feel is very less. Also it is priced at $2, what's not to love ?
  4. Olay Complete Defence daily UV moisturizing lotion (SPF30+) - This is my go to day moisturiser. Its a lovely, light and non greasy moisturiser. Review HERE .
  5. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Black - Rimmel Scandaleyes is an awesomely pigmemted and creamy eyeliner, stays put all day. I have raved about it HERE .

What are the products you have repurchased ? Have you tried any of these ? What do you think ?

Review - Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner

Today, I am reviewing the 'Hydrating Mist Toner', by the Australian natural skincare brand 'Sukin'. I have been using this toner for a while now and have already purchased a backup of this. I use it during the night time after removing my makeup and also when I want to refresh my face on hot days ..I was using the "Neutrogena Alcohol - Free Toner" before and it is equally good as a toner, but I prefer the Sukin one. I use this both directly sprayed on my face or with a cotton pad.

What the company says :

This alcohol-free, skin hydrating mist combines chamomile and rosewater to help soothe, tone and cool tired skin. Use after cleansing or whenever your skin feels tired or stressed. Perfect for hot days, long flights or long days in an air-conditioned environment.

Application:  Close eyes and spray onto face and neck area for an instant refreshing feel. Can be used on face and body, over and under lotions, creams, oils, gels and make-up. Use throughout the day to refresh and hydrate dry skin.

The Good
  • Multiple uses. You can use it as as a toner, facial mist and makeup setting spray. I have not used it as a makeup setting spray, so not sure how good it is.
  • Alcohol and Paraben free (so should be safe for sensitive skin - please note, I have normal to dry skin)
  • Feels soothing and refreshing on the skin
  • Does not leave the skin feeling dry or sticky
  • Beautiful smell (but not overpowering)
  • Great and convenient packaging (love that its a spray, perfect for traveling)
  • Affordable

The Bad
  •  Only available in Australia

The Price
AUD 9.95 (125ml) - Is often available on discount

Where to buy
Priceline, Pharmacies and Sukin Website

Have you tried Sukin Products ?

PS - Post updated. My apologies. Sukin is available internationally. See the list HERE.
