My Current Favorite Pink Lipsticks

Today I am sharing my current favorite pink lipsticks. Two of them are wearable brights and two are subtle pinks. 

From Top to Bottom (as in the picture)

• Chanel Rouge Coco in Taffetas Rose - Taffetas Rose is a beautiful magenta shade, which makes a statement but at the same time is not shockingly bright. Review HERE
• Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 'Hooked on Pink' - 'Hooked on Pink' is another one of my easy to wear bright shades. Its a beautiful color, would IMO compliment most skin tones. Review HERE
• NYX Round Lipstick in 'Doll' - NYX Round lipsticks had made quite a rage when they were launched. This is the only shade I have. Doll is a beautiful rosy pink shade.
  
• Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 'Soft Rose' - Revlon Colorburst is a great range of lipsticks. This one is an easy every day shade. It leans towards a rosy pink, a reddish brownish pink. Review HERE.

Loving now - Chanel, Rings and some prettly little things :)

Lately I have been loving wearing this beautiful bright pink lipstick, Chanel Rouge Coco in Taffetas Rose. Its a gorgeous wearable bright pink which adds a perfect pop.

If you have been following my Manicure Monday, you must have have noticed, I have been loving Rings, all sorts of rings. 

Winter calls for a lot of lip balm love, I have one at every corner of the house, well nearly. I have been loving this Vanilla flavored natural lip balm from Evodia for the smell, the Burt's Bees Tinted lip balm for the way it feels, the tint , the moisture it provides and finally the Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm for the cool tingly minty sensation it provides on the lips ..

 

Finally have been loving this solid perfume 'White Musk Libertine' from The Body Shop, its perfect for on the go, as these days I usually forget to spritz some on..

Review - Chanel Rouge Coco in Taffetas Rose

I bought 'Chanel Rouge Coco in Taffetas  Rose' from Singapore when I was in the 'obsessing over Chanel' phase .. Well I kind of still am, I find Chanel products so luxe looking n you do feel like treating your self with such beauties time to time.. 

Anyways getting on with 'Chanel Rouge Coco in Taffetas  Rose', its a beautiful magenta shade (with hints of blue n violet) with subtle shimmer (not very obvious on the lips)..

For me, this is one of the wearable bright pink lipsticsks just like my favorite Maybelline 'Hooked on Pink' Color Sensational

The Good

•  Stunning color which IMO should look good on most skin tones (both warm n cool)
•  Good statement lip, but at the same time not that in your face bold
• Will work for both day and night 
• Good Pigmentation 
• Lasts for 4-5 hrs (no lipstick lasts long on me)

The Bad

• It has a rose scent (not very overpowering, but I am not  a fan of rose scents) - may not be a problem for you
• Not very creamy but not as drying as matte

Top 5 Pink picks for ' The Pink Month October '

As we all know October is the month of 'Breast Cancer Awareness' and most of the companies come with the 'Pink Ribbon packaged products' to support the BCA funding and research. Buying these products is our way to show, we support the cause and the women out there. In this post, I am sharing my favorite pink products at the moment. 

 

1. Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil in 'WoodStock'- This is a gorgeous pink color. I am really enjoying these Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencils. WoodStock is a fun n easy way to wear pink on your eyes.
2. MAC Dollymix - This is a pretty pink MAC blush with shimmer but not so noticeable on the cheeks. This is a good pink for medium/olive skin tones. You may not like it if you are a total matte fan. 
3. Chanel Rouge Coco in 'Taffetas Rose' - 'Taffetas Rose' is a bright dark pink color. To me its a true magenta shade, leaning towards red. Its a bright shade without being over the top out there. IMO, its good for people who want to go bolder and brighter, but are scared to try bright shades. This could be a good start for them.
4. Maybelline Mini Colorama in Bublicious - This is my favorite pink nail polish at the moment. More swatches and details HERE.
5. Palmer's Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E Lotion - This year I bought Palmer's Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E as my pink ribbon product. I am running out of my body lotion and Palmer's do good lotions and facial creams, so I believe this should be a good pick. I shall review it later.
