Today's post features different ways I use Argan Oil. I have done a lot of "Ways to use" posts, check them out HERE.
My skin type is normal to dry, with it being quite dry during winters. Usually I cannot imagine putting any kind of oil in summers but I am loving using this now during the colder months. My skin just seems to drink it. I usually don't wear this in the morning, but if my skin is feeling extra dry, I mix two drops with my AM moisturiser. For my night time routine, I sometimes wear this as a night cream. If my skin is feeling extra dry, I will use this as a serum and then follow it with my night cream. After seeing Emily Noel's video, I have also been wearing it mixed with my foundation.
Protane Moroccan Argan Oil
I really love this product and have spoken about this HERE, HERE and HERE on my blog. The most common way I use this is on my damp hair, I apply it to the lengths of my hair with a focus on ends. This just acts as a leave in conditioner and leaves my hair feeling soft and nice. Another way I use it as a pre shampooing hair conditioning treatment. I apply a generous amount on the lengths of my hair before shampooing. I leave it for 15 - 20 mins and then shampoo it. If I don't have time, I wash it directly. Its just a easy and quick way to treat your hair.
Which argan oils have you tried and how do you like to use them ?
I've never tried using argan oil, I"m a big fan of rosehip oil, but I've never tried mixing my oils with my moisturiser which is such a great idea!!!

My skin gets very dry during winter, and am really enjoying mixing argan oil with my night cream. I haven't tried Rosehip oil yet.

Thank you Mia. Hope you end up liking it on your skin as much as I do.
DeleteI haven't used Argan Oil before but it sounds great for dry skin. I occasionally use a few drops of Rosehip Oil on my face though!
ReplyDeleteI have been loving it this winter. If you have particularly dry skin, you can even try the original version of Josie Maran oil, I bough the lighter one and it works just fine for me.
