India is perfect for street shopping, from Sarojini, GK, Lajpath in Delhi to Colaba Causeway in Mumbai to Johari n Bapu bazaar of Jaipur to Goa and the list goes on. Anyways hope you enjoy this arm candy post ..
Stack it up baby ! |
- Goa Street Market (under 150 Rs/ 3$)
I bought this chunky multi colored bangle from Goa. Its multicolored on a wooden base and sure makes a statement when you wear it ..The other two bangles with mini elephants printed on them look pretty stacked together and add a pop to your outfit.
- Hong Kong Street Market (price not sure gifted)
My sister bought these pretty enamel bracelets from Hong Kong, but really I have seen a lot of similar stuff everywhere in Delhi, Jaipur,etc.. These are fun n quirky way to style your outfit and almost go with anything.. - Jaipur Street Market
Jaipur has awesome street markets and is very famous for shopping..I bought these bangles from a street market and love them. Though these bangles are purple and green, they look very neutral when you wear them .. Pair them with a bright plain T and they look great :) - (Under 100Rs/ 2$ for the set)These are pure silver bangles with Meena work (enamel) that were also bought at a Jaipur Market. They go well both with western n ethnic wear..I love the color combination (1000Rs/ 20$ each)
- Sarojini Delhi Market (under 150 Rs/ 3$)
Sarojini Market is a shopper's paradise. You can get everything possible there. I love this chunky rustic bangle. I love that it has gold, rose gold and silver together, is surely a statement piece, looks great on its own or stacked together. The multicolored bangles are great to stack on with other bangles n add are a good way to brighten your outfit .. - Ladakh Market (price not sure gifted)
This is a piece that was gifted to me and is very special to me :). This was bought from Ladakh and I believe is from one of those tourist gift/jewellery shops. It is one of the vintage pieces that I have in my collection and I love it ..
**Pls note all these were bought atleast one or two years ago. The pricing and the trends have changed since then**
